Cebu Pacific Flights Resume From Davao to CDO and From Davao To Bacolod

Cebu Pacific Inc. (CEB) and Philippines Airlines (PAL) are ramping up their domestic networks to address the anticipated surge in travel demand as the holiday season approaches.

In a statement, CEB said it will increase flights from its Davao and Cebu hubs this November.

This totals a 35 percent increase in the airline’s non-Manila flight network.

CEB will be resuming its direct thrice weekly flights from Davao to Cagayan de Oro and four weekly flights from Davao to Bacolod on October 30 and 31, respectively.

These additional flights bring the total number of domestic connections from Davao to seven, which includes direct flights to Bohol, Cebu, Iloilo, Manila, and Zamboanga.

The airline will also be restarting its first international flight from Davao on October 30, flying passengers direct to Singapore. CEB is the first local airline to bring back direct international operations in Davao.

CEB said it is also adding more flights from its Cebu hub in November, including flights to Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, General Santos, and Puerto Princesa, among others.

PAL said in an advisory it is increasing flight frequencies in its Manila and Cebu hubs this month.

For flights between Manila and Puerto Princesa, it will increase to three times daily from 15 times weekly starting October 30.

PAL said it will also increase flights from Cebu to Busuanga (Coron) from four times weekly to two times daily effective October 30.

Flights from Cebu to Butuan are also set to increase from 11 weekly flights to twice daily effective October 16.
