The Pau-tastic Party ng Taon Continues in CDO

Foodpanda Logistics marks its Mindanao leg with big wins and unforgettable moments at its annual year-end celebration

Foodpanda Logistics’ Pau-tastic Party ng Taon continued its multi-city rollout in Mindanao, gathering hundreds of Ka-panda riders on December 7 in Cagayan de Oro for a night of celebration, gratitude, and community. Riders from Iligan, Malaybalay, and Valencia traveled to join the festivities, highlighting the strong Ka-panda network across Mindanao.

The second leg of foodpanda Logistics’ biggest rider appreciation event delivered memorable moments through interactive games and major raffle draws. Riders enjoyed a wide range of giveaways, including cash prizes, home gadgets, riding gear, exclusive foodpanda merchandise, and sponsor prizes from Immuni+, Motivo, Transcycle, and SeaOil, giving many Ka-pandas the chance to take home something special.

“Tonight is for you, Ka-pandas, for your hard work and dedication all throughout the year,” said Operations Manager Ruben Mariano. “We’re here in Cagayan de Oro to celebrate our Mindanaoan partner riders who give their best all year.”

The gathering also reinforced foodpanda’s holiday message—“this Pasko, they gotchu”—a reminder that every Ka-panda delivery rider deserves to feel recognized and appreciated during the busiest season of the year.

Another Night of Big Wins and Big Surprises for Ka-Panda Riders

JoJo Won The Jackpot

The celebration featured fan-favorite games, starting with Role-Tanong, followed by the PauPau Panda Game, a high-energy Hep Hep Hooray–inspired activity that instantly energized the venue. The winner of this round earned an exclusive chance to play the popular Pera o Panda Bag.

Joy “Jojo” Ebcas, a single dad and Ka-panda rider for three years, secured the top spot and advanced to the high-stakes round. Anticipation grew as the hosts attempted to persuade him to choose cash over his selected Panda Bag. Jojo, visibly emotional, shared that any prize would help support his family, especially as he continues caring for his mother, who recently experienced a mild stroke.

After a suspense-filled game, Jojo won the super jackpot prize of PHP 300,000 and a brand-new motorcycle. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he shared his plans to give back by sharing part of his winnings with fellow riders.

The excitement continued with the grand raffle draw, where Ka-panda riders awaited prizes including Honda Aerox units and PHP 100,000 cash. One lucky winner, Ka-panda Jade Moreno, walked away with PHP 100,000—his first raffle win—drawing cheers from the crowd as he expressed disbelief and joy.

Live Entertainment Energizes the Pau-tastic Celebration

The entertainment lineup kept the energy high throughout the night, with hosts Tanya Chinita, Terry Gian, and DJ Maria engaging riders through nonstop banter, games, and onstage moments.

Foodpanda Jamming

High-energy performances from Maui Bordador, Bert Symoun, and Dreycruz, including their hit “Wag Ipagsabi,” had riders singing along, while Lucas Garcia delivered crowd-pleasing OPM hits. A wave of nostalgia filled the venue when Salbakuta took the stage—rain and all—performing favorites like “Binibirocha” and “Banyo Queen,” and closing with their iconic track “Stupid Love.”

For many attendees, the event was more than a party—it was a powerful moment of unity within the Ka-panda rider community. Rodolfo Gannaban, a Ka-panda rider for six years, shared, “Biyaya talaga ’to para sa amin. Tuwang-tuwa kaming mga riders, lalo na’t first time magkaroon ng ganitong celebration dito sa CDO. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na sama-sama kami ngayon.”
