I heard this CDO Blog Con year back wherein they are helping the fresh blood who love blogging, not just blogging but also Vlogging. They invite speakers from Manila to give some talks for the CDO Blog Con event. If you are not into blogging 10 years ago then you missed the 1st CDO Blog Con wherein more than 150 participants are attended on that event from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, this blog conference in Cagayan de Oro was titled Mindanao Bloggers Summit because it’s originated in Mindanao. The Blog Con was hosted by CDO Bloggers which an SEC-registered Bloggers group in Cagayan de Oro since 2008. Some of the missions of this group why it was built are because they want to help promote Cagayan de Oro and the local businesses in CDO, as well as promoting Mindanao
Who Attended The 1st CDO Blog Con Bloggers Summit?
The Blog Con or the blogger’s summit was attended by New bloggers, Professional Bloggers, influencers, blogger ambassadors, Mindanao-based bloggers, IT industry experts, community leaders, and new media advocates are attended this first CDO Blog Con that happened in CDO more than 10 years ago. If I am not mistaken it happened October of 2009. I am glad that I was part of that successful blogging conference in CDO.
Blogging in CDO is already popular since 2000 because I remember before CDO Bloggers was organized there are already a group of bloggers who tried to established but unfortunately they failed to organize.
If this Bloggers summit or the CDO Blog Con will happen again I’m sure I will support this event because they have the mission and goals why they have this event, it’s not about the money to the organizers but it’s all about the knowledge that participants will gain to this CDO Blog Conference.
Blog Con Cagayan de Oro Supported By
This biggest blog conference in Cagayan de Oro was supported by the Philippine blogosphere as well as other blogger communities including Davao City, General Santos City, and Zamboanga.
So if you think that Blogging in Cagayan de Oro is just boom in 2015 then you are wrong, it was started in the year 2000 where only a few can have access to the internet.
