USTP New President Dr. Ambrosio B Cultura II

On October 14, 2019, the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines named the new University System President, Dr. Ambrosio B Cultura II, the current Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation in the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTsP) Cagayan de Oro.

Dr. Ambrosio Cultura II has an impressive portfolio of administrative experience in the USTP system. He was the former Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation in USTP CDO, and has served as the Vice-President for Academic Affairs of the former MUST, and the Dean of College of Engineering and Architecture in USTP CDO.

Among the significant educational attainment of Dr. Ambrosio Cultura II are:
-Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell USA (2011)
-Masters of Energy Engineering in Solar Option in the University of Massachusetts, Lowell USA (2005)
-Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in USTP CDO (1990)

His expertise includes power and energy systems, renewable energy, power economics, and sustainable development.
