Yes it’s 3 years now since this photo-walk was started and every year participants of this event learn new techniques in photography. This Photo-walk of CDO Bloggers was started last April of 2012 and the title of this photo walk is “Street Photography”, while the title of the 2nd year of Cagayan de Oro Bloggers Photo walk is “ Nature Photography” and this year photo walk workshop is about “Street and Night Photography” which is the target location of this photo walk is some Heritage and Historical site of Cagayan de Oro. This event will be on May 24, 2014 (Saturday).

It is more exciting this year photo walk because participants will learn the techniques on how to shoot during night. This Photo-walk Workshop aims to promote the heritage and historical sites of Cagayan de Oro City while learning how to use the correct exposure modes for Street and Night Photography. The speakers who will share their talents this year photo walk are,

Argie Padilla Yanez – Master of Art Photography

Image and video hosting by TinyPic The painter turned into a photographer, Argie brought  his knowledge from painting to the digital world right after the Typhoon Sendong hit the city destroying all of his works including his collection of masterpiece. This may be the reason why he turned his doors to the digital camera bringing art to the images. 

Argie is a member of Litrato Philippines, Cagayan de Oro Photographers League and the Light Seeker. He specialized more into Fine Arts Photography.

 

Robert S. Kho – The old School Photobug

Image and video hosting by TinyPicConsidered to be the “Kuya Kim” of the Light Seeker Group perhaps because of his age and his wit, Robert Kho humbly considers himself as an “Amateur Photographer” for the Digital Photography and accordingly, still tries to improve his digital photographic skills on given the limitation of time and resources. On the other hand, this so-called “Amateur Photographer” is considered to be the Old School Photobug hence a Master of Film Photography.

He specializes on special events such as weddings, debut, fashion shows and birthday celebrations. Moreover, he’s open for any fields of assignment.

Clement Dampal II – The Traveler

Image and video hosting by TinyPicThe Traveler on a Journey, Clement II is one of the Travel Insiders of ABS-CBN’s CHOOSE Philippines and a Travel Blogger. He was nominated for AsiaRoom.com’s Blogger Awards 2013 for Travel Tips Expert and Travel Photographer of the Year. One of his travel experiences was published at the M Magazine- A Travel and Lifestyle Magazine. 

Clement specializes more on Travel and Street Photography though he sometimes do Portrait, Moon, Bird, and Fashion Photography respectively..

The event is open to all Photography hobbyist and Enthusiast who would like to learn about night photography.

There is a registration fee of P100.00 per participant which comes with workshop certificate and exciting freebies!

– EVENT TYPE: Street and Night Photography Workshop
– EVENT TIME: Early registration is at 03:00pm and officially starts at 4:00 in the afternoon.
– LOCATION: CDO Tourism Information Office, Plaza Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City
           ( Fronting Jollibee and BDO Divisoria Branches)
– REGISTRATION: P100.00 per participant
– THINGS TO BRING: 
           – Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras and/or Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens cameras.
           – Point and Shoot camera owners are also welcome to join.
           – A good Tripod
           – Yourself! Yourself! and Yourself!
