Who’s Your CDO Mayor This Coming 2016 Elections?

8 months from now and the 2016 Presidential election will be started. A month ago we can start noticing some political ads on TV, Radio and even some tarps on the street and highways. Telling to people what they did during their terms and it’s an obvious that they want to be re-elect or to be elected in higher position on the politics.

2016 Presidential election, Cagayan de Oro mayor, 2016 cagayan de oro mayor, Oscar Oca Moreno, Vicente Dongkoy Emano, Rufus Rodriguez, Cagayan de Oro,

In Cagayan de Oro the Mayor race is a hot issue. 3 of the biggest names of the politics in Cagayan de Oro will try to get the heart of the Kagay-anons. Right now the present Mayor of Cagayan de Oro Oscar Oca Moreno on his first term has planned already to run and hoping to be re-elect again as a Mayor of Cagayan de Oro and on the other hand, the former Mayor of Cagayan de Oro from Padayon Plipino who was defeated by Mayor OCA Moreno last 2013 election Vicente Dongkoy Emano will run again as re-match for Mayor race and hoping that this time he will win as the Mayor of Cagayan de Oro and get back the control of the City Hall.

But just recently during his 62nd birthday last Sunday September 13, 2015, the 2nd district Representative Rufus Rodriguez announced that he would join the Mayor race on May 2016 elections. We know that this guy has fame as the chair of the House of Representatives Ad Hoc Committee on the Bangsamoro Basic Law.

Rufus Rodriguez is known as the political alliance of the present Mayor of Cagayan de Oro and Representative of the 1st district Rolando “Klarex” Uy.

The announcement of Rufus Rodriguez maybe the good news and bad news for the Padayon Pilipino candidate Dongkoy Emano, good news for him because maybe the loyal supporters of Moreno and Rodriguez will be divided and bad news for him because maybe he has small chance to win this race because it’s 2 vs 1.

But lets wait until May of 2016 who will be the next Mayor of Cagayan de Oro this coming 2016 elections.

You can check your precinct on the comelec.

Who will you vote for this coming 2016 Elections?
