StreetBy Events Feature is Now Out

Keep events organized and easy to follow with StreetBy Events

People generally are more comfortable taking notes using pen and paper. And most of the time, these are not the I-carry-it-wherever-I-go type of objects. Personally, when taking notes of events I can possibly write about, I use my phone and camera. My phone stores a lot of things not to mention work-unrelated photos (with family and friends), interest-related screenshots, and reminder notes. All of these piles up as I take and create new ones which make it tedious for me to backtrack and follow up work-related images and notes that I am already prepared to work on. With my nature of work, this is a problem and I need a solution.

I believe that as a blogger, it is one of my social responsibility to write worth-reading articles to promote my own city. As a writer as well, it is imperative that I stay alerted of important events in Cagayan de Oro City. I write and post articles on my site about these events and it is essential to have a single event source that is dependable and is regularly updated.

Good thing this First Cagayan de Oro Mobile App (called StreetBy) that I wrote about last week has this new feature where they promote ongoing and upcoming Cagayan de Oro events which you can read about and attend to if you find it interesting.

Every event has its own page where you can check its details like time, date, venue and contact number. Photos from the event are shown. Registration fees (if there are) are indicated. Link to the event’s registration form (if there is) is provided to make it easy for you to register. Additional information like topics to be discussed or program to be followed (if applicable) are stated so you have advance knowledge of what to expect during the event. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) related to the event are listed and answered for your own benefit. Event provider is shown below each event so you have the idea of who are the people behind. Featured events are listed first, followed by other events that are arranged based on their respective dates.

StreetBy is a great help in keeping the Kagay-anons well-informed of the city’s events, in the most convenient way possible. This app recently has been a solution-provider for me. I am looking forward to new features from them in the coming days.
