Flash Flood Warning In Cagayan de Oro

Recently the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) visited the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) to checked the flash floods warning posts for the 5 Brgys in Cagayan de Oro. This is to check the security of the people of Cagayan de Oro if it is safe during the flash floods.

The five (5) flash floods warning posts are located at Brgy. Pagatpat, Balulang, Consolacion, Bonbon and in the City Hall through the help of PAG-ASA. Aside on flash floods warning device, the City also has the rain gauges and water level sensor. The said Baragays are actively participated the training and orientation.

The Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) group and Emergency Medical Specialist (EMS) team enhancement their knowledge to respond any calamities that they will encounter.
