“Eats more fun in KUMBIRA 2012” that’s theme of this year Kumbira celebrations for already 16 years of Culinary show and live competition. This is an annual culinary competition celebration of Kumbira from August 15-17, 2012 at the Atrium, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City. the event has taken a fresh concept promoting fun during the event and strengthening the educational aspect of the show. This year celebration is more excitement because lots of participants are joining all around the Philippines . Their are 21 establishment participants, 1 from Misamis Oriental which is the Apple Tree Resort and Hotel and 1 participant from Dipolog City which is the Saint Vincent College and 19 of this establishment are came from the heart of Asia Cagayan de Oro, also 41 Schools who participate for this year Kumbira.
The Schools who participating 2012 Kumbira in Cagayan de Oro are came from our very own Cagayan de Oro with 11 participants, Bukidnon State University (bukidnon) 1 participant, Manila with 1 participant also and that is the Center for Culinary Arts-Manila, Caraga State University is also a participant from Agusan del Sur, Father Saturnino Urios University is a participant from Butuan City, Davao City has 2 participants, Iligan City has 5 participants, Misamis Oriental has 5 participants, Ozamiz City has 1 participant and that school is La Salle University, Lanao del Norte has 2 participants, Cotabato City has 3 participants and Surigao City has 2 Participants.
