Down to 45% Crime Rate in Northern Mindanao

A good news to let everybody know about the crime rate down to 45% in Northern Mindanao and I think it is the effect of the serious campaign of war against drugs of our government that some of the Filipinos did not see what our government doing to stop this crime. A 45 percent dipped in the second quarter, compared to the same period last year, a report noted.

According to the Data of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) regional economic situationer that they shared about the crimes recorded from April to June last year totaled to 9,631 while in the second quarter this year, crimes recorded totaled to 5,321.

NEDA officials noted that the average monthly crime rate in the region likewise posted a decrease by 31 percent from 58 to 37 per 100,000 population.

Misamis Oriental posted the highest crime solution efficiency of 43 percent while Camiguin province recorded the lowest average monthly crime rate of 17 per 100,000 population.

Police officials noted that there are at least 70,000 illegal drug personalities who have come forward and subjected themselves to profiling at various police units all over the region in line with the Project “Tokhang”.
