Cagayan de Oro Will Held Free Jr. NBA Camp On Saturday Feb. 11-12

A FREE Junior NBA basketball training camp will be held on Saturday, February 11, at the Xavier University gym in Cagayan de Oro City. The Jr. NBA camp will start at 8 am – 4 pm.

Coach Craig Brown, the director of operations of NBA Asia, will personally supervise the training camp. Assisting him in the basketball camp will be Philippine Basketball Association‘s former stars Willie Miller and Jeffrey Cariaso.

Miller was a two-time Most Valuable Player in the 2002 and 2003 PBA seasons with the Red Bull Barakos. He was then traded later on a one-sided deal to Talk N Text.

Cariaso, called in his famous monicker “Jet”, was among the shining stars in the PBA during his long stay in Alaska. He had also a memorable stay in few teams such as Tanduay Rhum Masters and the Coca-Cola Tigers, where he got reunited with former teammate Johnny Abarientos.

The training camp is free to all boys and girls wannabes born in the year 2003 to 2007, provided that they will bring their birth certificates from the National Statistics Office.
